Before retiring last night - well, while watching football, truth to tell - I discovered that several hours of work done last Friday, editing of an important document on my computer, had gone missing.

Gone.

Lost.

Probably went unsaved, is all I can think, but whatever the case, there is nothing to be done except to do the work over again, and so I shall.

I'm not sure how long that will take, or whether I can even get it finished today.

I may be back.

I may not be.

Ugh . . .

And a half.

Update:

Work dutifully redone, leaving behind a red-lined version of the important draft document I was editing.

Properly saved this time.

I think.

And therefore, I am . . .

Pretty sure.
