Here's my dilemma.

Six years ago - and, I'm pleased to say, counting - I had blocked coronary arteries opened up with stents, seven in all. So I suppose I'm kind of living on borrowed time, you might say.

No doubt I'd be better off if I went with the heart items more often, but I generally eat at home anyway, where everything has a heart on it for me and would be ordered and eagerly eaten by anyone else who might be able to figure out a way to have access to it.

I've always figured that, when it's time that the lights be turned out, the lights will be turned out, and I can't do much about it, or about the choice of timing.

I could be wrong.

And if I am, I'll either be the first, or the last . . .
